Prepare yourself for a Page, Arizona elopement at Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. It is BEYOND breathtaking. But first, you need to know the story behind these two. Jenn and Sean met at Dewey Beach – he later proposed in the sweetest, most intimate way. Here’s how he popped the question:
“I (Jenn) came home from dinner with my girlfriends. I thought Sean was still at work. However, when I got home our whole condo was lit by candles and rose pedals covering every inch of the floors and table tops. He made an aisle out of candles with Crush by Dave Matthews Band playing in the background. Sean was standing at the end of the aisle on his knee and proposed. SO ROMANTIC.”
Why Elope?
They love to travel to together, and recently traveled to Ibiza, Spain. They said that Ibiza has been their favorite place that they’ve traveled to together. Their love for travel and not liking a lot of attention led to their decision to elope instead of having a local wedding. The two of them officially got married at their hometown courthouse, with their parents present. They then jetted off to Page, Arizona for their elopement images with me! They chose Northern Arizona as their location because of how different it is than where they live on the East Coast.
The Day of Their Elopement:
On the day of their elopement, I picked the two of them up from their hotel and we headed off to an incredible slot canyon. We spent the next few hours slowly walking through the narrow passage, taking in the incredible views and epic image locations. After over a two mile walk through the canyon, we made a cool down pit stop at Sonic for ice water and slushees. We made a stop at Lake Powell for a few images by the water and then ended their day by heading to Horseshoe Bend to catch the sunset and the 1,000 foot drop. Above it all, Jenn and Sean told me that their favorite moment of the day was walking through the slot canyon. They said that it was so beautiful and magical, and that they’ve never been to a place like that before. It’s safe to say that their elopement at Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon was absolutely rad.
Here’s to the BEST day ever with the coolest couple and to the many more adventures they will have together.
Cheers!
Allison
