Steven and Leslie have such a beautiful story together – all of which lead up to their off-roading family elopement in Sedona, Arizona. After meeting one another earlier in life, they each continued to remain on one another’s minds through many different seasons of life for each of them. The two of them found their way back to one another after initially meeting many years ago and have such an incredible story to now tell.

Steven later proposed at the botanical gardens night lights that they go to as a family each year, with them being altogether as a family when the question was popped. When it came to their wedding day, Leslie said: “I was originally supposed to be on a medical mission trip in Peru this year, and we thought that would be a perfect location, take the kids to hike Machu Picchu, have a small Peruvian ritual ceremony in a village outside Cusco, but everything had been postponed with my trips with Covid. We looked at different spots, and both decided Arizona would be a great beautiful location with tons to do! We have always wanted to vacation there, and have Arizona on our list to possibly move to one day. We love the rugged beauty of the red rocks and thought it would be an awesome picturesque adventure for us and our kids to enjoy!”

Their day was filled with so many awesome moments together as a family, including off-roading in a jeep together and doing sand unity as part of their ceremony. They were all able to be so present with one another the entire day, while having an epic adventure to say ‘I do’.
