Brittany and Enzo’s Scottsdale Omni Resort wedding day was ABSOLUTELY incredible. Their day was full of so many intentional moments and pieces, such as: Enzo’s wedding band was his grandfather’s ring, Brittany’s necklace was her Great-Grandmothers that every cousin has worn so far on their wedding day and their toasting flutes were ones that have been engraved with the newly wed couples names on it and are then used for the reception. What’s more? Their reception was one dang good dance party. But, before we dive into their wedding day, here’s the story of Enzo’s proposal:
“We planned a trip to Breckinridge in the middle of December couldn’t have been more excited. Our room was perfect, the flights were cheap and the snow was perfect! We had a friend up there that was going to be skiing with us the whole time. Little did Brittany know that he had a major part to do with the whole proposal! When Jamie ended up hurting himself badly on the first day of their trip, Brittany had no idea that I was freaking out a bit inside – my partner in crime for the proposal was out for the count. Saturday started and we had the best day, perfect conditions and all smiles. When we finally made it over to the lift that was going to take us to the top of the mountain, we started sharing how blessed we are in life and how much we appreciated each other. Brittany was dying to take a picture at the top so I was feeling very positive about the situation – just upset that I had no photographer lined up. Brittany scouted out a kind soul that was willing to snap the picture – after a couple photos, Brittany went to go ask for the phone back when I said, “Wait, one more…” I then got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with me. Luckily, our kind stranger was happy to continue snapping photos of the big moment and it all turned out for the better.” Brittany then said: “The absolute best part of the proposal was when I was able to ride down the mountain with my hands in the air yelling “i’m getting married!!!”.
When it came to planning their wedding day together, one of their most memorable parts was: “Being able to strengthen our communication and honestly learning how similar we are. Whenever we felt stressed about making a decision, we would just talk it out with one another and remember the whole reason we are making these crazy decisions. We reminded one another that the craziness of this year will lead to the happiest most memorable years to come.”
Their venue, The Omni Resort, provided them all of the inspiration for their day! They said: “We wanted our wedding to be extremely colorful, welcoming and true to who we are. Anytime we are at the Omni I was so inspired by the amazing Spanish flare, we loved that we got to tie that into our vision with the party favors, welcome sign and seating chart.”
Brittany and Enzo said that the best part of their day was: “Seeing each other for the first time, then locking eyes with one another as the long walk down the aisle began.”
The entire day long, I was continually blown away by their intentionality with not only each other, but also all of their loved ones. Brittany and Enzo’s Scottsdale Omni Resort wedding was absolutely the biggest honor to be a part of.
Cheers!
