Styled Elopement at Cathedral Rock in Sedona, Arizona with Phoenix Wedding Photographer

Sunday evening was spent pulling myself over steep rocks and getting covered in a film of red dirt, all for the most rad elopement at Cathedral Rock in Sedona, Arizona. I left with such a high, one that’s only caused from doing something that’s such a combination of my three favorite things: photographing, hiking and adventuring.

There’s just something about hiking around with two dear friends, clad in wedding attire, while huffing and puffing up the mountain together.

Noelle may have forgotten her hiking shoes, resulting in us switching shoes (and ultimately me hiking barefoot for part of our adventure.) But there was something so calming about the feeling of the cool rocks beneath my feet and dirt between my toes. Our hike up was slow going and resulted in our climb down the mountain being lit by just the moon and my flashlight, but that’s all part of the adventure.

It’s fair to say that the team of vendors who joined in to make this elopement at Cathedral Rock a reality, 100% killed it – I’ll be reliving this day over and over for the years to come. (check out the vendor team below!)

Cheers!
