Matti and Cole had been dating one another for 11 years to the exact date of their breathtaking intimate wedding at The Paseo. The two of them were so excited to finally become husband and wife and had the absolute best day to celebrate this big moment.
The two of them got engaged at Lost Dutchman state Park after 10 years of being together, surrounded by the mountains and Matti’s immediate family. After becoming engaged, they went on their first vacation just the two of them to come to Arizona and pick out their wedding venue. They knew they wanted to have all of their friends and family join them on a vacation to Arizona from their home state in Minnesota – and then also be able to attend their wedding on that same trip.
Matti said: “We wanted to gift our favorite people an experience in our favorite place. We knew it would be tough to convince our family and friends to get on board with an intimate, destination wedding. We needed a place that showcased exactly why we love AZ. The Paseo was hands down the most perfect place to do so. The opportunity to be outside and inside (without feeling like we were inside) while having the Superstitions in sight nearly wherever you were on The Paseo grounds was everything we wanted.”
They spent their evening soaking in slow moments with just one another, and then dancing and spending time with their closest loved ones. Matti and Cole said: “The most memorable moments of our day was our first look and speeches by our Dads and siblings.”
It was such an honor to photograph not only their proposal, but also their incredible intimate wedding at The Paseo. Needless to say, I’m counting down the days when they’re back out here in Arizona so that we can meet up again!
Cheers,
Allison
