Stephanie and Marlon’s Chapel of the Holy Cross adventure wedding weekend was so epic. Their sunset cermony at the church followed by their hiking adventure the next day was so incredibly stunning. Here’s their story:

THEIR STORY

After meeting online, here’s how Marlon later proposed: “I had the ring for a month or two and was trying to find the right place. Stephanie thought I wouldn’t do it, so she didn’t expect it. We were going to go snowboarding in Mammoth and her friend was going to come along so I messaged her letting her know I would do it at the end of the day when we took the scenic gondola to the top. I gave her friend my phone to take a picture of us and took the ring out and Stephanie was SHOOK! We had to hang out at the top for a few minutes because she was not ready/able to get back on the gondola right away.”

WHY ELOPE?

“We wanted to do something small and intimate for our parents especially. It also helps ease the strain of finding a nice church next to a nice venue. Now that we handled the church part, we can take care of a big wedding at a venue and do everything at the same place with the rest of our friends and family.

Marlon said: “My favorite part was seeing her for the first time walking up to the church and inside. It all came together at that moment and I couldn’t hold back a huge smile and a tear or two. I felt it hit me that we were going to become a unit, together forever. It was awesome.”
