The magic and beauty of sunrises. Nicolette and Steven had never been to Sedona but they knew it was the destination they wanted to be for their special elopement. Many of their weekends have always been spent together venturing off to different destinations to see the sunrises. Each sunrise in every corner of the world always gave them the magic and beauty that filled their hearts. They do it on the New Year of every single year. Sometimes even birthdays! It was only fitting that they celebrated their union with a Sedona Hot Air Balloon Elopement.
See more of this beautiful Sedona Hot Air Balloon Elopement below! Here’s their story:
Nicolette said: “Steven and I met after I had known his mom and 3 sisters for a few years. At the time, I was working as an assistant at a salon in Scottsdale. My boss gave Steven his very first haircut as a baby and had known his family for over 20 years. I had recently become single, and Steven (who I actually had never formally met at the time) saw his opportunity and pursued me!”
“Neither of us has ever dreamed of a big wedding, so it didn’t feel important to follow tradition. We’re both pretty unconventional and independent so it seemed right to start our marriage by doing something adventurous and authentic to us. Elopement gave us the chance to have only the people who really really matter to us there, and we felt the intimacy made it that much more special.”
“Literally all of it. There’s not a single moment that I won’t cherish forever but if I had to be specific, our first look with the sunrise in the background, and saying our vows to each other were my favorite moments.”
