Aly and Trevor had a gorgeous sunrise elopement in Sedona, Arizona because they wanted their special day to focus on each other, with no distractions. They chose to get married in the beautiful red rocks of Sedona because they both love the desert environment. Its natural beauty and awe-inspiring vistas would make a perfect backdrop for their wedding photos. The couple wanted a simple ceremony with just the two of them and their closest friends and family members present. They wanted it to be just as unique as they are, so they chose a destination wedding where they could enjoy the natural beauty of their surroundings. They also wanted something different from what they were used to seeing at weddings: “I just wanted something unique and different,” Aly explains.

“We met at a St. Patrick’s day bar crawl in 2019 and then started working together later that month.”
“Over the past couple of years, we have attended a few of our friend’s weddings that have been the traditional local wedding. While these were beautiful occasions, it seemed to us like the couple was lost in the chaos of the day and the day seemed to be more about the attendees rather than the two that were getting married. By eloping, we were able to ensure that the day would be a very intimate experience and we could both be intentional in our approach to starting our journey together.”
“It’s so difficult to narrow it down to one, which is a good thing! Standing there together before the ceremony started and taking in the views and the occasion was very special. Having the picnic with our friends, Abby & Tyrell was also a super unique and fun experience. Honestly, though, being able to write our own vows and commit them to each other while feeling that they were truly for the other person and not for an audience was very special to us. They made us laugh, and cry, and they’ll be a part of our day that we’ll never forget.”
