After COVID made them reschedule their day three different times, Linda and John finally were able to say ‘I do’ during their stunning Sedona elopement in the red rocks. It was a gorgeous September day that started out in the most relaxing way – by getting ready together at the Amara Resort. After the two of them were dressed, ready and packed up for their adventurous Arizona elopement, we took a walk by the creek near their resort. The crystal clear water was beautifully glistening against the trees and red rocks off in the distance.
After leaving their resort, we set out for location #1 of the day! We hiked a short half mile out to a scenic spot, with Linda wearing hiking shorts under her wedding dress so that you could easily carry the train while we hiked. Several people stopped to congratulate them along the way! Once we reached the end of that hike, Linda and John stopped to soak in the views and time with one another. They talked about some of their favorite past memories together and all the things that lead up to that day; their wedding day.
Later on that afternoon, we hopped into a big 4×4 truck and drove out to the MOST epic viewpoint of Sedona. Johnny absolultey loved driving on this unpaved path, despite some nerves in the beginning. The long, bumpy drive 100% paid off when we reached the top and they saw where they would be saying ‘I do’! Linda overcame her fear of heights for the most breathtaking of spots to get married. Their ceremony was short and sweet, with the most insane of backdrops.
As the light dwindled down on their wedding day, we took full advantage of the dark skies of Sedona to do some star gazing before parting ways. Linda and John’s day was deeply connective and truly incredible.
Cheers!
Allison
