Sienna and James waited so long for this day of celebration. They were originally supposed to get married and celebrate with all of their friends and family in June 2020, but COIVD made them switch up their plans. They instead officially got married back in June with their immediate family present, and postponed their BIG celebration to January 2021. Their vibrant Scottsdale wedding at Hotel Valley Ho (and SoHo63) as so dang amazing. To read all about how they met, click HERE.
Sienna said: “My inspiration was mid century modern meets boho. I wanted the colors to be bright, fun, and bold. We picked Hotel Valley Ho as one of the locations for photos because it was the vibe I was going for (fun fact, we also stayed there back in June on our wedding night!). My bridesmaids had marigold dresses, which reflected my love for yellow and our love for vibrance. We had the groomsmen wear navy blue because blue is our favorite color. Not bad for a summer wedding vision turned winter!”
The two of them said: “We really loved the flexibility of SoHo63 and the amount of love and excitement from the staff there (and, of course, how gorgeous it was). James and I are people persons and we just fell in love with the staff and it made it easy to chose them. St. Andrew’s Catholic Church was actually the church that I (Sienna) grew up going to. So, that was an easy choice for us when we decided we wanted to get married in the church! For Hotel Valley Ho, we loved the vibe and the history behind the hotel. Again, the staff was wonderful and really sold us to stay a second time.”
Sienna: “There were a lot of memorable moments that day! However, my two favorites are walking down the aisle next to James and sitting at dinner, listening to Mariachis play us a special love song. Although it wasn’t our actual wedding day, I love that we have memories we can intertwine into one big memory of our love. We are very thankful!”
James: “I would have to say the Mariachis were my favorite, too! I liked having dinner while they were playing just for us. Of course, my second favorite part was eating Chick-Fil-A right before mass. That hit the spot!!!”
I’m so stoked that these guys FINALLY got to celebrate their marriage! It truly was such an incredible day filled with so much joy and excitement.
Cheers!
Allison
