The first thing you need to know about Carrie and Jacob’s wedding day is this: their tiny dog, Boo Marley, was their RING BEARER! I mean honestly, I was a puddle watching that little pup walk down the aisle with the rings clipped to his collar.

But really, there was so much goodness to the Schwoerer’s wedding day. Both Carrie’s Mom and Jacob’s Dad passed away before their wedding day; they had so many elements incorporated into their day to honor their late-parents and have a piece of them throughout their wedding (one of which included pictures pinned to each of their wedding day attire). Carrie’s sister and MOH, Katie, crafted all of the decor for their wedding day, including the invitations and charms of their parents. Carrie and Jacob chose not to see one another before the wedding day, and shared a tearful moment together as Carrie walked down the aisle towards Jacob at their ceremony. They wrote handwritten, heartfelt vows to one another that gave so much depth to the meaning of their wedding day. Jacob is an incredible wood-worker and crafted Carrie’s wedding day gift box and ceremony arbor one of Carrie’s favorite elements of the day. We did a Hitch-esk dance line with the wedding party before letting the two them sneak off together for pictures before their reception. They drank from the same champagne glasses that both Carrie’s parents and sister drank from on their own wedding days. Carrie’s niece, Elsa, wore the fluffiest flower girl dress and lit up the dance floor all night long. Man, was it such a rad day.

I will never, ever get tired of getting to celebrate such incredible couples on the first day of their married life together.
