Brittany and Angelo knew they wanted to an elopement in the epic southwest and celebrate their honeymoon in a private and intimate way. They both enjoy hikes, the outdoors, sightseeing, and trying new things. The Southwest is filled with grand canyons, rock formations, cliffs, red rocks, blue skies, and desert wildlife. The PERFECT destination for an adventure filled with love.
They chose Arizona because it had everything they were looking for when it comes to the gorgeous scenery and fun outdoor activities. However, it was still different enough that it felt like another world! They wanted something that would allow them to get away from everything else in life for a little while—and just focus on each other.
See more of this elopement in the epic southwest below! Here’s their story:
Brittany and Angelo met in college, and their relationship has only grown stronger since.
Brittany says that the two of them have been together for years now, and they’re looking forward to many more years of romance.
“It suits our personalities to have an elopement as we like to keep things private and intimate. We wanted to be able to enjoy a day just the two of us and not have to worry about anyone else. We have been part of and attended many big weddings and have seen from behind the scenes how stressful the process is. We didn’t want to go through the complicated process of getting married. We also enjoy hikes, the outdoors, trying new things and sightseeing so this was the best way to do what we love together on our special day.”
“Our favorite part of the elopement day was the little bits of hiking we go to do our wedding outfits — when will you ever get to do that?! Also seeing new things like the canyons we visited. And how the canyon in Tuba City was hidden until we actually walked up close and got to see the hidden gem — so stunning.”
