Nicole and Ryan wanted their wedding day to be unforgettable, so they decided to take it outside the box and incorporate some of their favorite activities into an intimate offroading wedding adventure.
They started their day at Cathedral Rock, taking in the beautiful sunrise and having a moment to themselves to make lasting memories. Then, it was time for adventure! They picked up Pink Jeeps from Pink Adventure Tours and drove them through Sedona’s red rocks to the Merry-Go-Round for an intimate and expansive view of the city. The entire party got to enjoy this adventure together, making this wedding an experience that everyone will remember!

Nicole said: “We met on Bumble and after talking back and forth for 3 weeks I eventually asked Ryan to meet. We had our first date at Goose Island Brewery in Philadelphia and I brought along Max. Ryan ran a race that morning that he got second in and I was doing one of my long runs because I was preparing for the Philly marathon. If it isn’t obvious we both connected right from the start over our love/passion for running and dogs.”
Nicole said: “Ryan and I are both private people and neither of us enjoys the spotlight on us. The idea of having a big, traditional wedding felt daunting to us and we’ve observed enough weddings where we felt like the couples didn’t get to spend any time together on their actual wedding day.
We wanted a day that was about us and that we can enjoy and spend as much time together rather than trying to say hi and thank you to all the family and friends that get invited to those big traditional weddings.
We chose to elope in the way we did because it was almost the perfect compromise of everything we wanted. Our closest friends and immediate family were there and the weekend/day was filled with adventures – a hike, winery tour, pink jeep, and relaxing at the house with everyone.
We also were able to spend time by ourselves getting to do what we love which is a hike, eat our PB&J, have a beer, and enjoy the sunset.”
“The 3 hours that we got to spend alone with you at Cathedral Rock hiking and enjoying a beer at sunset.”
